Game Of Thrones Season 6: 10 Ups And 2 Downs From 'Oathbreaker'
5. Small Council

When half of the small council is made up for Grand Maester Pycelle and Mace Tyrell, you know it's probably time to start worrying about the state of the crown.
The scene itself was well played though, not least for the return of Olenna Tyrell. There's no real reason to have her around King's Landing at the moment, which is probably why they've put her on the small council now, but she gets so many great lines (and the delivery of them is so wickedly sharp) that it's easy to look past that.
Lena Headey also delivers great work yet again, at once grieving and vengeful, while they continue to play Gregor Clegane for terrifying comedic effect. There are a few plot strands I'm really interested in seeing here, obviously the trial by combat, but just how everything else fits together, such as what happens with Margaery and Kevan Lannister's role (and whether it'll end up going the same way as the books, which there is a suggestion of this week).
