Game Of Thrones Season 6: 11 Most Important Things It Has To Get Right

8. Jaime's Return To King's Landing

Jaime is a bizarre character. Kingslayer, murderer, rapist, attempted child-killer, incest-partaker, part-time father, and...erm...fan favourite? I have no idea how it's happened, but Jaime suddenly looks like one of the good guys. His redemption arc, sparked by Brienne, has been interesting but he's certainly not a polished figure just yet, and Myrcella's death could undo all of his progress. He's en route to King's Landing with the body of the daughter he intended to rescue, but what impact will that have on Cersei and the rest of his standing in Westeros. He needs to be utterly seething, he needs to show flickers of the vengeful Lannister anger that Cersei puts on display 99% of the time, and his response needs to be powerful. What next for Jaime Lannister?
