Game Of Thrones Season 6: 8 Things You Might've Missed In 'The Broken Man'
2. Cleganebowl (GET HYPE)
CleganeBowl has long been one of Game of Thrones' (or A Song of Ice and Fire's) biggest fan theories, positing that the Hound and the Mountain will face off in Cersei's trial by combat; the Hound for the Faith, the Mountain for the Lannisters.
The setup was partly there when the Mountain returned, and the hype grew stronger when the words "trial by combat" were uttered earlier in the season. Now, Sandor Clegane is back, which means we're even closer to the theory actually becoming canon.
There were a couple of other clues here as well. One is that we see the burning embers at the start of the episode, a reminder of the Hound's face being burnt by his brother. Then there's that line about the Gods not being done with him, which not only says that he has something big to do, but it's involved with the Faith. Finally, he picks up the axe at the end to go after Brother Ray's killers, a reluctant return to his killing ways, which means he will still be prepared to fight when necessary.
