Game Of Thrones Season 6: 9 Book Storylines That Could Still Be Used
6. Arya Wargs Into Nymeria
What Is It? Like her brother Bran, Nymeria has the ability to warg into her direwolf, that is to see through the wolf's eyes. This first happens between Arya and Nymeria in a Storm of Swords, and is significant because it's Arya/Nymeria who pulls Catelyn Stark's dead body out of the river.
She continues to have these wolf dreams throughout her time in Braavos, with Nymeria leading a pack of wolves who are roaming around the Trident, with the direwolf feasting upon men if necessary.
Odds Of It Happening? It doesn't seem like the most consequential decision whether they include it or not, but there's definitely scope for it to be featured. It would be good to see the return of Nymeria, because the direwolves - bar Ghost - have largely been underused, and hardly seen for the past few seasons (granted two of them are dead).
It would help tie Arya's story back to Westeros, and be a visual representation of the struggle between being Arya Stark and becoming no one. As for the Catelyn Stark bit, well we can but hope, but I've mostly given up on Lady Stoneheart by this stage.
