Likelihood: Probably Not Now we're entering unknown territory, where virtually any of the following characters could conceivably meet their doom in the Season 6 Premiere. Brienne wasn't left in a dire situation, she was left to hack the head off Stannis Baratheon in the middle of a dead battlefield. She's not in immediate peril, but her next move could be fatal. Sansa and Reek have leapt from Winterfell in a bid to escape, and they really could cross paths with Brienne at any moment. That seems like the most likely connection to be forged early on in Season 6, but with Sansa, comes Ramsay Bolton's men. They'll be desperate to ensure the 'key to the North' doesn't slip through their fingers, and that puts Brienne at risk. She could set Sansa and Reek on their way before sacrificing herself for the cause. It would be a noble end for a loyal oathkeeper.
