Game Of Thrones Season 7: 10 Huge Shocks That Could Happen

7. ...And Littlefinger Sends Her To Slaughter

There has to be a reason for Littlefinger's plan of pouring honey into Sansa's ear. He can't possibly hope for the Northern houses to turn on Jon and unite behind Sansa (even with Lyanna Mormont blazing trails, they're very pro-male leaders up there, and she has no experience), and his only solution would presumably to make other alliances to back up his plot if he's able to pull Sansa away.

But what if Littlefinger's plot is to sell Sansa off once more for an alliance with an even greater enemy than Ramsay Bolton? What if he believes that his quickest route to the absolute power he craves is to unite with Cersei - hell, even marry her - in exchange for handing over Sansa.

After all, Sansa is far from the same naive, malleable girl she was before he forced her marriage to Ramsay, and he will have seen flashes of her independence emerge after her escape. She's probably running out of usefulness to him with Jon returned and in charge, and betraying her to Cersei - who wants her dead for her perceived part in Joffrey's death - would probably serve him better.
