Game Of Thrones Season 7 - 8 Clues From "Queen's Justice" Trailer

1. The Meeting Of Dragons

The teaser is peppered throughout by shots of Jon and Ser Davos arriving at Dragonstone (because apparently they are incredibly quick rowers) and being received by Dany's council. Imagine the sparks that are going to fly when the Onion Knight realises that his old friend Melisandre is there too.

There are a couple of major questions here: firstly, how will Dany react when Davos tells her Melisandre is a sh*t? And more importantly, how receptive will she be to Jon? We know she's had visions of the Long Night - it just remains to be seen whether this Northern bastard can help convince her that it's a pressing issue.

Dany definitely knows how to make an impact, sitting there all brooding in her giant stony chair. Also, how much cooler is the Dragonstone throne than the Iron Throne? Why would you even want to trade?

And are we supposed to see Dany here as imposing or drowned by the imposing structure? Depending on how you feel about her current seat of power, it could really be read either way: there's certainly some bombast in her sitting there, but the framing seems to suggest she's a little swamped. Contrast that with the shots of her symbolically looking out over the cliffs and something is very different.

Here she appears to be dominating her landscape (the same message as her dragons flying free), while the throne shot looks far less natural. Then again, perhaps it's an allegory for the dangers of underestimating her?
