Game Of Thrones Season 7 Implications: What "The Queen's Justice" Really Means
5. Jorah Is Cured
After going through the disgusting trauma of having most of his body - including his nipple, most traumatically of all - peeled off so that Sam could lather on ointment and cure him in a matter of days, Jorah Mormont is once more fit and healthy and ready to fight another day,
Inevitably, as soon as he was announced to be free of infection, he vowed to return to Dany's side, as if he had been given the all clear from an STD test and leapt enthusiastically straight into bed. What he should probably realise is that she won't be interested: no matter how dutifully he conquered his disease, she sees romantic entanglements now as distracting, so he's going straight back into the friendzone.
Surprisingly, Sam's defiance of his master's orders to heal Jorah didn't result in him being expelled from the Citadel. Clearly, Archmaester Ebrose realises that Sam is pretty much the greatest maester ever, and instead punishes him by getting him to copy out some scrolls. At least he's not slopping out buckets of poop any more. Small mercies.
