6. The Northern Super-Alliance

If you can't get excited about the idea of Jon Snow putting together a super-alliance of heroes to go beyond the Wall to parlay with the Wildlings who didn't follow him, you're not allowing joy into your lives.

By the look of it, that alliance will feature Jon, Tormund, The Hound, Gendry and Beric Dondarrion at the very least (you'd suspect Davos and Thoros would be in there as well). If Jorah Mormont and Bronn were in there, that'd basically be the best rough-guy characters in the show all together in one place.

Obviously, it means some of them will die, which is not good, but we'll see what amounts to Game Of Thrones' first Avengers team-up, and that's an incredibly exciting prospect.
