5. Theon And The Ironborn Wouldn't Have Rebelled

Theon may have still been disenchanted by his 'outsider' status at Winterfell, but seeing that he could've risen to a high position under Robb at Winterfell, the Greyjoy son could've tied himself closer to the Starks as opposed to declaring war on them with the Ironborn. The demise of House Stark led to the Ironborn storming the mainland and reducing Winterfell to a chaos-filled ghost town. They couldn't hold it, but they've seized positions in the North and gained a foothold in Westeros aside from their Iron Islands. Ned Stark kept the Ironborn at bay, but his death gave them an opportunity that they've seized.
