Game Of Thrones: 10 Most Memorable Death Scenes

4. Joffrey Baratheon

Fans rejoiced earlier this season as a long awaited event finally happened €“ someone finally killed Joffrey. In the end it was a combination of Petyr Baelish and Olenna Tyrell who was behind the act, although typically of that idiot King, in his final act he blamed his Uncle Tyrion who was standing gawping at the poisoned cup which did the deed. In fact it is quite surprising that considering just how nasty Joffrey was made out to be in the series (which was to be a very terrible person), he was actually only directly responsible for one of the deaths on this list. But his demise was certainly very justified as right from his first appearance he was causing abuse and ill treatment to others all over the place; after he orders the death of a commoner called Mycah and his lies result in the slaughter of Sansa€™s direwolf Lady. The actual demise itself wasn€™t as memorable as several of the others on here, but the reason why this ranks so highly on this list is that it was so utterly desired by so many viewers. While the Red Wedding could have been a one off, after the events of this one€ well€ it€™s quite plain that weddings in Westeros must be avoided. When you play the Game of Thrones, you either live or you try to get married.
