8. Prince Trystane Martell

While the Dornish may not have gotten any actual screentime until Season 4, the young Prince Trystane Martell has been on viewers' radar ever since Tyrion's tenure as Hand of the King. Although never actually appearing in the flesh, Trystane was chosen by Tyrion as the ideal future husband for Princess Myrcella. Despite Cersei's objections, Myrcella was subsequently shipped off to Dorne and her intended in "The Old Gods and the New" in Season 2, ne'er to be seen nor heard from again. So far. Now, with the rise of the Martells as a force to be reckoned with and more focus allotted to the Dornish in Season 5, Myrcella's mysterious fiancee will finally make an appearance. Like many of the other children in the series, he has been aged up for the show. The prepubescent young prince from the books will instead be a handsome 18-year old man. Not much is yet known of Prince Trystane, nor of the nature of his current relationship with Myrcella, but if Oberyn's assertions to Cersei are accurate, we can at least count upon Myrcella's treatment from her betrothed being preferable to what Sansa endured at Joffrey's hands. We will have to wait and see whether Tyrstane will take after his cautious father or impetuous uncle, and hopefully his ageing up will serve a purpose beyond creating a new source for Dornish sexposition now that Oberyn is dead.
