After the previous High Septon was killed, he took power, despite having a somewhat mysterious background. High Sparrow is described as being a somewhat slight-looking older man, with gray hair and a wrinkled face. He has to be someone who can wield power almost effortlessly, and possesses an iron will. With so many tremendous actors in the 60+ age range, it seems like it would be difficult for them to make a major casting misstep. But why not shoot for the stars and go for Billy Nighy?
