Game Of Thrones Season 5: 10 Perfect Castings We'd Love To See

6. Tyene Sand - Caitlin Stasey

Tyene is the youngest of the Sand Snakes, a girl in her early 20s who is less skilled at fighting than her older sister, so instead of physical confrontation she uses her innocent persona against people. She is a master of seduction and poison is her weapon of choice, despite her outward appearance of a wide-eyed, chaste girl. In the book, she is described as pale and golden haired, but since it seems like the show is casting largely Hispanic actors as the Martells, we think that we can get away with a less of a typically wasp-y appearance. Caitlin Stasey is a young Australian actress who is currently featured on CW's Reign as lady-in-waiting Kenna. She somehow manages to combine an innocent countenance with a sexually adventurous nature which seems well-suited for Game of Thrones, and the character of Tyene in particular. More than anything, she's a very interesting actress to watch, and makes the most out of the material given to her. If she can impress on a show like Reign, imagine what she could do with something as high quality as Game of Thrones?
