Games Of Thrones Season 7: What 'Beyond The Wall' Really Means
11. The Succession Issue (Dany CAN Give Birth)

During their conversation, Tyrion revealed the logic of thinking about the long term and what will happen when Dany vacated the throne (presumably on her death). Tyrion suggested the need to have a contingency plan, which Dany batted away flatly, saying she will deal with succession when she has the crown. The sadness in their exchange, beneath Dany's anger was palpable.
It's very clear that Dany is terrified of the idea of not being able to bear children - which was doubled-down upon when she told Jon as much at the end of the episode. But it very much feels like we're being fed a lie of misdirection here.
The prophecy relating to Dany's fertility was not concrete on her inability to have children, and as we've already been primed to note this season, prophecies are very much open to interpretation. If it doesn't turn out that the Song Of Ice And Fire of the title is Dany and Jon's children, it will come as a major shock now.
It just feels like you wouldn't set this up so heavily without having a pay-off.
