Glee: 10 Best Finn Hudson Moments
10. Finn Takes Rachel Down A PegOkay, this could describe a number of different episodes, but I am referring in this case to "Acafellas." By the third episode, everyone knows that Rachel is disliked. Rachel knows it more than the rest of them, though she believes that it's for different reasons. Finn, however, is different. He's the one who sees past Rachel's diva complex and recognizes that she is someone special. Granted, it takes him a while before the admiration takes a romantic turn, but he is the nicest of all the Glee kids where Rachel is concerned. So, when he stands against Rachel, that's a serious thing. He criticizes her for "kicking in the nads." He points out that she is in denial about her feelings of guilt with pointing out, "do you see anyone else in here with a plate of 'I'm sorry' cookies?" We know that Finn isn't the sharpest note on the diatonic scale--he asks if a cliche is a good thing--but he is a wise person. He has perspective and sensitivity. He is the only person in Glee Club at the beginning to deal with Rachel by using honesty that doesn't taunt her. In "Acafellas," he shows that he is more concerned with doing the right thing than being right.
