6. The Hangman

One of the latest additions to Gotham's cast is Crystal Reed, who'll be playing the character of Sofia Falcone Gigante - the daughter of Carmine Falcone and the sibling of Alberto Falcone, the main Holiday Killer in Jeph Loeb's Batman: The Long Halloween.
In the sequel to that book, Dark Victory, Sofia resumes the holiday-themed murder spree by taking on the persona of the Hangman - a killer that targeted members of the GCPD and later even Batman too. While it's unlikely that we'll be seeing the Hangman immediately following the character's introduction, the concept of a serial killer who targets the police is one Gotham - with its heavy GCPD focus - will no doubt be looking to tap.
It's been a while since we've seen the show shine a light on the city's crime families, what with Sal Maroni getting bumped off way too early on in its runnings and with Carmine himself opting for retirement. Given how Carmine is a retiree, however, it could be possible that Sofia is looking to resurrect her father's empire. If things don't go according to plan, however - and bodies start piling up outside the GCPD headquarters - then mark down Sofia as a prime suspect.
