Another more recent addition to the Batman comic books could be making the leap to live action sooner than you think. The bandage-clad Hush has played a major part in the Akrham video games much like Hugo Strange has, cementing a place in public consciousness that was hitherto non-existent. Hush had slightly more name recognition thanks to the eponymous storyline that introduced him. Turns out that, all along, Hush was known other than Thomas Elliot a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne's who basically had the opposite origin story to Batman. His father was abusive, his mother didn't stand up to him, and they lived in relative poverty, despite making sure their son received the sort of education that had him travelling in similar circles to Bruce Wayne. So, duh, he grew up to be a psycho. And he's already appeared briefly in Gotham as one of Bruce's school chums, Tommy teasing the recently orphaned Wayne. And then he got punched in the face. Probably not enough to get him in the mummy outfit and seeking revenge just yet, but the seeds for Hush might very well be expanded upon in the second season.
