4. Florence Pugh - Yelena Belova
While many have theorised that Yelena Belova could become the new Black Widow, others believed she would perish before the end of Natasha's solo movie, as an explanation for her absence from the final battle in Avengers: Endgame.
Thankfully, though her casting in the Hawkeye doesn't confirm the former, it does put to rest the theory that she wouldn't feature in the future of the MCU. With Hawkeye rumoured to be set in 2025, Yelena will be almost a decade removed from seeing Nat, and may even be getting in contact with Clint for answers around her death.
On the other hand, it may even be Hawkeye who seeks helps from Yelena. The two characters may already have an established relationship, with Clint rumoured to be appearing in Black Widow as well, and there's no telling what will bring them together on Disney+.
Florence Pugh is wonderfully talented, and has become one of the best young actresses thanks to her performances in the likes of Midsommar, Little Women, and Fighting With My Family. Bringing her into the MCU for just one movie would have been criminal, so hopefully Marvel Studios have done everything they can to keep her around for as long as possible.
