House Of Cards: 10 Questions That Must Be Answered In Season 3

4. How Will Jackie Sharp, Christina Gallagher, And Linda Vasquez Fit Into The New Administration?

Speaking of Linda, despite resigning over her strained relationship with Frank, and first bringing him to the attention of the investigation, she did play an important role in impeaching the President. Given her potential to cause problems further down the line, and his need for as many allies as he can get in his new position, Frank may well honour his predecessor's offer to rescind her resignation if he wants to keep her quiet. Then again, he may look to destroy her completely. Further down the hallway, and equally as important in the plot's endgame is Jackie Sharp. After Frank pulled his usual array of strings to get her into the role as House Majority Whip, she burned his fingers slightly by refusing to roll over and even publicly called Claire out on national television in disagreement over the sexual assault legislation. However, seeing which way the wind was blowing, and with a little coercing from the Underwood's, she whips the votes needed to impeach the president and even maroons Remy's attempts to implicate Frank in the scandal at the cost of her own reputation. She'd be a powerful friend for Frank to have, albeit one he knows he couldn't control. Then of course there's Christina, one time long-suffering girlfriend and emotional rock for Congressman Russo, last seen as a presidential aide under the suspicious eye of the former First Lady. Repeatedly contacted by Zoe and Lucas for the information she's either subconsciously suppressing or turning a blind eye to, it's unclear how much of a threat Frank views her as.
