8. Kerry Katona
Pre- scandal, fresh-faced and still Mrs Kerry McFadden, she was crowned Queen of the Jungle in Series 3, early 2004. Initially, she struggled with jungle life and her ability to survive on her own, away from her children, but she managed to turn it around and go on to win the show. She struck up a close friendship with Katie Price, who she thanked in her winners interview and credited her as the reason for doing so well in the eating challenge. In true D-list style there was a much documented fall out between the former best friends when Katie split with her then-husband and fellow I'm a Celeb contestant, Peter Andre. However, Kerry and Peter still remain close. There were many tears, but she showed the public her fun side and she was soon able to enjoy the experience. Her time in the jungle catapulted her back into the celebrity domain and upon leaving she was inundated with work after becoming the nation's sweetheart. As the face of the Iceland supermarket brand it seemed that the Warrington lass had made it! However, the demise of Miss Katona was soon to follow and she was in and out of rehab as much as Lindsay Lohan! She has been made bankrupt numerous times and of course there was THAT interview on This Morning, where she appeared to be high before blaming it on the medication. There has always been controversy surrounding Kerry Katona but she constantly manages to bounce back, living on the back of her various reality TV appearances.
