It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia: 10 Most Offensive Episodes
2. The Gang Goes Jihad
Season 2, Episode 2
Best Quote: Mac: "Calling somebody a Jew who is a Jew is not a racial slur."
This is one of the only schemes that the gang originally decide not to go through with because it's too dark, even by their standards.
The gang make a video of themselves dressed as "terrorists", speaking in a made up language, as a way of threatening an Israeli businessman that claims he now owns the land that Paddy's pub is on. Eventually, Charlie sends the video anyway, even after the gang have decided against it.
Even the title of this episode is offensive, and the depiction of terrorists by the gang is one of the most racially offensive portrayals to appear on the show. At least you could argue that the gang know, for once, that what they're doing isn't' right, and a line is drawn for the show. Then again, the damage is done by that point and the episode goes down as a politically incorrect nightmare guaranteed to make you laugh through the hands you've slapped over your mouth in shock.
