It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia: 10 Times Dennis Reynolds Embraced His Inner Sociopath

9. Think Of The Smell

By the time Season 10 aired, the gang were all bursting with personality and they each had developed so many complex layers, that they were all as deep, and interesting as any real person.

By this point, Dennis for example, really lets his inner sociopath out when he and Dee are attempting to retrieve pills from a doctor in order to sedate Psycho Pete, who is actually a misunderstood middle-aged man suffering from depression.

In the doctor's office, Dee flip-flops between quoting A Streetcar Named Desire, and a horrific British accent in an attempt to feign schizophrenia, much to Dennis's annoyance. The calmness with which he tells Dee she would be more use to him if he fashioned her skin in to a lampshade is eerie, as if completely un-phased at the thought of turning his own sister in to furniture.

Dennis really lets loose and channels his inner Leatherface here, commenting on the terrible smell such furniture would produce, and possibly letting slip that he has a collection of skin luggage. Unsurprisingly, Dee is absolutely horrified, and so is presumably the doctor who bears witness to the whole interaction.

The cut to the next scene in the bar is hilarious and leaves little to the imagination. It shows they have been successful in retrieving the pills and it's safe to say, no thanks to Dee's ridiculous acting.
