Judge Dredd: Mega-City One - 10 Things We Want To See
5. Judge Dredd Versus Judge Death
Judge Death is The Joker to Dredd's Batman, the Lex Luthor to his Superman, and a character whose live-action debut is long overdue.
Death is a formidable villain, a supernatural being who inhabits a world where simply living is a crime worthy of capital punishment. He's nigh on impossible to defeat, since he can jump to another host whenever his physical form is destroyed.
Judge Dredd: Mega-City One simply has to introduce Death and the Dark Judges, since he's a contender for best comic villain never to have featured on the big screen.
Death's introduction is a no-brainer that would up the stakes for everyone involved and add horror elements to the TV series. With any luck, the show will bring him to life with traditional effects and lay off the CGI.
Although seeing Dredd go toe to toe with his nemesis promises to be a Mega-City One highlight, Judge Anderson has had memorable confrontations with the villain, including one which left her suspended in stasis with Death trapped inside her mind.
