Legends Of Tomorrow: 8 Arrowverse Characters Who Should Join The Team
1. John Constantine
Originated From: Constantine
Since John Constantine showed up for an episode of Arrow's fourth season, fans have been clamoring for more of the character. Though the character debuted in his own show in 2014 that was cancelled after only 13 episodes, it was later folded into Arrowverse continuity for his appearance on Arrow, an act that put us on the road to where we are today, with the character finally returning in the midseason finale of Legends of Tomorrow ahead of the debut of his own animated webseries next year.
It's clear that actor Matt Ryan loves this character. After all, if he didn't, he could've easily turned his nose up at appearing on Arrow, let alone return to the role over two years on since we last saw him. And it's hard to deny that fans and critics alike have taken to the abrasive demonologist, who is quite unlike any of the heroes we've come to know in the Arrowverse over the years, with his feet firmly planted in a world of magic and supernatural events.
Since October, we've known that Constantine would be surfacing on Legends for two episodes, the second of which will be the midseason premiere next year, but he's a character that deserves to stay on longer, especially with a threat like Mallus in the mix. Like the other faces on this list, he brings something new to the table in comparison to the other Legends, something to differentiate himself from them, and he is - quite simply - a character many would love to see more of going forward.
