2. What Did Sylvie Do?
Had Mobius played by the rules of the TVA, and adhered to Renslayer's wishes, Loki would have been pruned the moment he was taken by the Minute Men. However, the titular character was kept around to try and catch another Variant Loki, who had been terrorising said Minute Men for some time.
This Loki, revealed to be Sylvie, had been working against the TVA with a plan that had been years in the making, with her endgame being to tear the entire organisation down, but why? She has spent her whole life running from the Time Variance Authority, but what exactly did she do to label herself as a Variant and put a target on her back?
The MCU's original Loki stole an Infinity Stone, did Sylvie do something of a similar proportion, or is she closer to one of the beings that simply turned up to work late or something on that kind of level? And how did she manage to escape the TVA at all?
They are the greatest power in the universe, and literally make paperweights out of Infinity Stones, yet Sylvie was able to escape and terrorise the organisation for years to come. If most people were fortunate enough to escape the TVA and find a way to successfully stay hidden from them, they would count themselves desperately lucky. Sylvie however, has decided to wage a full scale war against them. What exactly did the TVA do to her when she was there to incite such a vendetta?
