This is the most obvious one, but it's very clear that Luke Cage season 2 will take place after The Defenders. The Defenders will also, I imagine, be the first time that quintessential comic book BFFs Danny Rand and Cage meet. Comic fans already know what follows, in that the two take their penchant for crime fighting and do-goodery into an entrepreneurial endeavour, establishing Heroes for Hire and raking in the moolah while they do so. That said, could it form the crux of another season of Luke Cage?

Chances are Iron Fist and Luke won't be getting second seasons anytime soon, but rather a homogenised title focusing on the two characters in their most iconic form - as New York's most famous crime-fighting duo.

In that case, it's more than likely that threads left in Cage will spill over into Heroes for Hire, with the main difference being that it's no longer just Cage and co. taking on Mariah and Shades, but his superpowered cohort as well.
