8. Bucky Vs. Zemo
In a bid to destroy The Avengers once and for all, Zemo created a Civil War between the MCU's heroes back in 2016 and used Bucky as his unwitting pawn. Ultimately, he ended up behind bars and the former Winter Soldier was freed of his HYDRA programming but a lot can change in five years and, following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Zemo appears to be a free man.
Has he tracked down Bucky in the hope that his old foe will put him out of his misery? After all, with Iron Man dead and Captain America also believed to be gone, his quest for revenge is pointless and his family remain dead and gone.
If that is the case, Bucky clearly isn't playing along because despite aiming his gun at the villain, we see in the next shot that he's emptying the bullets on the ground. Something clearly changes, though, because set photos and a teaser video released during Comic-Con have confirmed that he'll don his comic book counterpart's iconic mask and become Baron Zemo.
