6. How Long Will It Take Wilson Fisk To Break Free This Time?
Season 3 ends on a happy note as Fisk is carted off back to jail with his corruption of the FBI revealed. DA Blake Tower promises the press that such a situation won't happen again, presumably meaning Fisk is going to be kept in solitary confinement so he can't infect anyone else.
But this is the Kingpin we're talking about. Just as Daredevil can't stop saving the city, Fisk won't ever stop trying to run it. The fact that he's back behind bars and his stooges in the FBI are uncovered just presents a new challenge to a master manipulator like Wilson.
That said, for once he's the one being blackmailed as Matt got him to surrender if he kept Vanessa out of prison. Fisk complied to save his wife on this occasion but it can't be safe to leave the knowledge of Matt's secret in his hands. Before long, he's bound to come up with a new plan to ruin his adversary's life. Whether that will happen next season or not, who knows.
