Marvel's Daredevil Season 3: 10 Early Predictions For Season 4

3. A Brand New Daredevil Villain

Mister Fear Daredevil
Marvel Comics

Daredevil's rogues' gallery may not be as brilliant or expansive as Spider-Man's, but the select few villains he has have all managed to leave a mark one way or another. It's already clear that Bullseye will be a recurring threat in the next season, and though it is possible that Melvin Potter wound up in that freezer alongside Julie in the finale (the resemblance, no matter how frozen, is uncanny), it could also be the case that Gladiator will join the fray in a few years' time.

But that's not all - the likes of Mister Fear and event Stilt-Man could yet become recurring threats for the Man Without Fear, and with the character having traded blows with villains from right across the Marvel Universe in the comics, there's potential that Netflix draw from another hero's rogues' gallery, and introduce a wildcard enemy too.

Then there's the matter of Typhoid Mary, portrayed by Alice Eve in Iron Fist Season 2, to consider. The character was a pivotal Daredevil enemy and love interest in the comics, and featured prominently in Ann Nocenti's lauded run on the Man Without Fear. Given that Iron Fist is now cancelled, it could be possible that Daredevil's showrunners will look to incorporate the villain themselves, with Mary taking on a new role as an out-and-out assassin and rival to Bullseye.

This is all just speculation of course, but given Mary's connections to the Daredevil comics - along with the fact that Alice Eve's performance was one of Iron Fist's few redeeming features - there's a strong chance she may feature somewhere further down the line.
