At least Daredevil is still technically a superhero. His powers aren't all that, but he has the costume, the codename, the messy personal life: all the staples. Jessica Jones, meanwhile, has long since abandoned her life of crime-fighting €“ at least, she will have done if her upcoming semi-eponymous series sticks close to the comics. If you're looking for AKA Jessica Jones on your local comic book shop's shelves, you're looking in the wrong place. The series that introduced the character was called Alias but, well, there's already a Jennifer Garner show with that name. Alias followed Jessica Jones, a former superhero called Crystal who now makes a living as a private detective who rarely draws on her super strength. She does, however, keep getting dragged into more cape shenanigans. Also interesting to note: Alias was one of the first big hit from Marvel's mature readers imprint...
