4. Some Talented People Are On Board
Marvel have, so far, been knocking it out of the park with their Cinematic Universe. Even the slighter productions, like Iron Man 2 and Thor: The Dark World, manage to be slick, entertaining movies. So far there TV output has been a lot more varied in terms of quality, with Agents Of SHIELD taking an entire season to find its feet, whilst Agent Carter has hit the ground running in some respects. If the slow increase in quality isn't enough to reassure you, the crew that Marvel have been assembling to lead these Netflix series should. Info about Luke Cage and Iron Fist is forthcoming, but AKA Jessica Jones is already on stable ground with Melissa Rosenberg running the show, having already worked on superior comic book TV series Birds Of Prey. Daredevil, meanwhile, is where the AAA talent can be found. Whilst Drew Goddard has had to duck out of being showrunner the Cabin In The Woods and Buffy writer is still providing most of the scripts, and fellow Whedon alumni Steven S DeKnight will be heading the show in his stead.
