Marvel's Netflix Series: 10 Things You Need To Know

3. The Casting Has All Been Perfect So Far

That's all the behind-the-scenes stuff, though. What audiences really care about is what they're actually gonna see up there on the screen €“ whether it's their TV, laptop, tablet, whatever. Thankfully, Marvel's pull when it comes to casting the Netflix series has so far been just as inspired and impressive as it has been with the movies. Daredevil's titular part is to be filled by Charlie Cox, previously seen in the opening of fantasy movie Stardust and as Irish criminal Owen Sleater in Broadwalk Empire. This is his first proper leading role, but he should smash it. Especially when he's playing off peerless character actor Vincent D'Onofrio as the Kingpin. AKA Jessica Jones, meanwhile, has got Breaking Bad favourite Krysten Ritter as the lead, David Tennant as the bad guy, The Matrix's Carrie Anne Moss in a supporting role, and the debut of Halo actor Mike Colter as Luke Cage. That's quite the line-up, and they're all well suited to their characters too.
