MCU: 10 Big Questions Surrounding Marvel's Disney+ Shows
1. Will Thanos Or The Black Order Appear In Loki?
When Loki disappears in 2012 with the space stone, he is at the height of villainy. He has not been through his redemption arc from The Dark World, Ragnarok, and Infinity War, and he is literally just minutes removed from being Hulk smashed. All this to say in this series Loki will be evil and p*ssed off.
Despite this however, he still left Earth with the Tesseract. While this wasn't his goal in 2012, it is what he was tasked with by Thanos. In return for the infinity stone, the Mad Titan gave Loki command of the Chitauri to take control of and rule Earth.
This could impact the Disney+ series in one of two ways. Loki may return to Thanos with the stone, seeking more reinforcements to overthrow Earth. However, the Mad Titan doesn't seem big on second chances, and if Loki gives him the stone he has no reason to help any further.
Alternatively, Loki may take use the stone to hide from the big bad. Though he was told in Avengers there is no corner of the universe Thanos would not find him, Loki is just arrogant enough to try. Could this result in the Mad Titan, or more likely the Black Order, chasing the God of Mischief through space to bring him back to their master?
