How well do you know the Netflix corner of the MCU?
While Captain America, Iron Man and co. were fighting Loki, Ultron, and building up to the battle with Thanos, Netflix were working towards their own MCU crossover event. The Defenders, released in 2017, saw the coming together of heroes Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, the former two of which enjoyed three stand alone seasons, and the latter two just two seasons.
The event never quite lived up the hype however, and every one of Netflix's MCU shows have now been cancelled with Marvel looking to push everything through Disney+ instead. This is a shame as there was a lot to like about the Netflix corner of the MCU. It was darker and grittier than the movies, and the episode format allowed the characters to be expanded more than if they shared the stage with the Avengers.
