Moon Knight: 10 Things You Need To Know About The Disney+ TV Series
3. Oscar Isaac Is Playing Marc Spector/Moon Knight
In recent months, a long list of names have been thrown around for the role of Moon Knight, including Keanu Reeves, Shia LaBeouf, and Oliver Jackson-Cohen. Daniel Radcliffe's name even entered the mix not too long ago, and the actor was later forced to deny having any involvement with the series.
Each of them would have brought something exciting to the role, but the first indication that Marvel Studios was thinking outside the box came yesterday when it was reported that both Daveed Diggs and Nick Kroll had been eyed for the role at one point. Of course, it was just a few hours later when the news broke that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker star Oscar Isacc has been cast as Moon Knight.
The actor has done a tonne of great work outside of the Star Wars Universe, though is no stranger to the world of comic books after playing En Sabah Nur in 2016's X-Men: Apocalypse.
Moving forward, Isaac now has two major Marvel roles; as well as Moon Knight, he'll be lending his voice to Spider-Man 2099 in the Into the Spider-Verse sequel!
