After months of speculation, the Moon Knight trailer finally confirms Ethan Hawke's villain role. Highlighting multiple scenes of Hawke walking past people on their knees towards him, the closed captions reveal the name "Arthur Harrow".

Harrow is a villain first appearing in 1985's Moon Knight (Vol.2) who bases his study of research on pain theory (even becoming a selected candidate for a Nobel Prize in Medicine). A notable thing Arthur Harrow did was join a group known as O.M.N.I.U.M. which is a think tank organisation hidden from public view. He crosses paths with Moon Knight after attempting to continue research after finding papers from Auschwitz.

Though this storyline may not be expected for the Disney+ origin show, his research into pain theory could be translated into an interest surrounding ancient gods or other supernatural artefacts.
