Mr. Robot Season 2: 10 Things You Need To Know

The first season of Mr Robot was pretty tough on Elliot, who had to deal with his own personal illnesses and demons, as well as trying to maintain a relatively normal working life while being thrust forward as the man to lead fsociety in the takedown of Evil Corp. It led to a fantastic performance from Rami Malek, but by the sounds of things, we've seen nothing yet.

Speaking to Variety, Malek says that things are only "going to get harder" for Elliot, and he even talks about the fact that Esmail warned him of how tough it might get, and that if it gets too hard he'll "pull back." Given how hard the first season was at times on Elliot, that's a pretty big statement of intent, and fits with Esmail's comments that Season 2 will see the show become "really f**king dark."
