7. Purgatory

If there's one thing we know about Preacher, it's that the hit series likes to do things a little differently. For example, its unique representation of hell is one of its finest creations, so upon learning that we'd get to see purgatory this season, we knew we'd be in for something equally original.

Thankfully, it didn't disappoint. After her death, Tulip awaited her fate in purgatory - which Preacher depicted as something of an off-Broadway play. The young woman was kept company by her younger self, as both iterations of the character awaited the conclusion of their own scenarios in a makeshift living room, which was set up on a stage. There was even a laughing audience.

As humorous as the whole thing sounds, thematically it completely made sense.
