Ranking Every Major MCU Netflix Villain From Worst To Best

12. James Wesley (Daredevil)

Jessica Jones Kilgrave
Marvel Studios

In some instances, a villain who is subtle and reserved can be fantastic and a shining example of this in the Marvel Netflix universe is Wilson Fisk's right-hand man, James Wesley.

With nerves of steel and blood as cold as ice, Wesley was in charge of making sure that anyone who posed a threat to Fisk's empire was swiftly taken care of. He was incredibly smart as well, further proving how capable he was of holding such a high position in the criminal underworld. Finally, his subtle charisma, collected demeanor, and self-assured attitude just made him incredibly fun to watch.

Sure, in the end, his overconfidence was his undoing, but for someone who consistently proved to be one of the most intelligent criminals in Hell's Kitchen, on par with Wilson Fisk himself, can you really blame him for carrying himself in such a manner?

Wesley was a fantastic character and while his ultimate death was necessary to further the plot, he has definitely been missed.
