Speaking of villains who are cool, calm, and collected, yet every bit as ruthless as their peers, we now come to none other than Madame Gao.
The very first leader of the Hand we were introduced to and all around one of the best members in general, Madame Gao has played key roles in Daredevil, Iron Fist, and The Defenders. Her bread and butter was the control she had over New York City's heroin trade, but she is also an incredibly powerful martial artist and a ruthless killer when the situation calls for it, not to mention being highly intelligent.
All of that, and yet she still walks and talks like any unassuming old lady, which only makes it that much more entertaining when her true, violent colors come out. And, in the end, she stands as a testament to how powerful and threatening the Hand can and should be.
