Ranking Every Season Of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia From Worst To Best
6. Season 10
There's a reason that Season 10 falls directly into the middle of the pack when talking about It's Always Sunny seasons, it's run was split with absolute classic episodes and mediocre and forgettable ones.
"Charlie Work" is the first to come to mind for most, as it was shot to appear as a one shot episode that goes into all the hard work Charlie does to keep the bar afloat amid a health inspector visit. "The Gang Beats Boggs" is another classic that showcases the gang in drunken glory as they pound beers on a plane, and Dennis enters the mile-high club in true Dennis fashion.
"The Gang Group Dates" shows Dennis absolutely lose it because he thinks he's a five star man and isn't getting the ratings to prove it. It's one of Dennis' best breakdown moments of the series, of which there are many, and is truly an underrated episode.
"The Gang Misses the Boat" is easily the highlight of the season, sorry "Charlie Work." The dynamic between Charlie and Dee, Frank ruining random people's lives and Dennis having yet another classic breakdown make it one of the best of the series.
With all these classic episodes, come the far from classic duds. "The Gang Spies Like U.S." is funny, but the cream-pie jokes are really all that hold it together. That and a cameo from our favorite Guigino's waiter. "Psycho Pete Returns," "Mac Kills His Dad," "Frank Retires," and "Ass Kickers United: Mac and Charlie Join a Cult" are all pretty mediocre episodes. The split of classic and just okay episodes is what causes this season to fall smack-dab in the middle.
