Schitt's Creek: 10 Funniest Episodes

Comedy is more funny if it is relatable. However, it's even comical if everyone can relate to the scenario except for the character in question. In the second episode of Schitt's Creek, the Roses can't sleep because the ceiling above their bed is leaking. To many, this would be nothing more than a minor nuisance.

But since the Roses have had an army of maids and butlers to see to their every need, they've never dealt with anything as trivial as a leaky ceiling. Johnny is so mystified by the constant dripping, it sends him over the edge, encouraging him to sell the town ASAP.

The B-plots in this episode are equally entertaining. Alexis tries to fit in with the locals but is unable to because... she's Alexis. David's decision to enter a beer bong challenge goes as badly as you think it will. The Roses dinner with the mayor has a lot of LOL moments from everyone involved. (Also, having Roland dunk his hand in the fondue as a nod to his character doing the same thing in Scary Movie 2 was a nice touch.) Even though most sitcoms take a while to set up all their main characters, this episode proves Schitt's Creek had their comedy formula fine-tuned from the get-go.
