Sex Education Season 3: 12 Questions That Must Be Answered
5. Are Ola And Lily Going To Last?
Season 2 began with Ola dating Otis, but ended with her dating Lily in an unexpected turn. Ola began having sex dreams about Lily which confused her, but she found instant relief when Google told her she was pansexual.
Unfortunately, it's a shame their blooming friendship turned romantic as it felt forced. It seems unrealistic that the first girl Ola ever had a crush on happens to like her back. And also happens to suddenly think they're into women too.
While their relationship got off to a rocky start, they end up on the same page and are looking to get serious. However, things are too good to be true at the end, which means season 3 will likely throw some issues their way as they navigate new sexual and romantic experiences together.
Plus, hopefully they will explore Lily's sexuality. In season 1, it was revealed she has vaginismus. What if this was her body's way of telling her that while she wanted to have sex, maybe she wanted to have sex with women and not men like she first thought?
People don't always realise their sexuality as easily as Ola did, mostly because of our heteronormative society.
