Two years ago, millions of viewers were themselves turned into amateur sleuths when Sherlock shuffled off this mortal coil to go to that big Baker Street in the sky - only to reappear moments later. At the end of Series Three, Messrs Moffat and Gatiss have produced this reaction again as it was revealed, in a shock turning point, that Moriarty also survived! Probably. Possibly. I dunno. Coming straight out of left field (or should that be east wind?), this was the twist to top all twists. While there were definite clues on show for how Sherlock faked his death, Moriarty shot himself in the head - surely a jump onto an inflatable mattress wouldn't fix that? So, Moriarty, did we miss you? We certainly did! But now we'll miss Sherlock for the intervening months or years until the next series arrives to no doubt provide another bulging bunch of fantastic moments. Do you agree?
