9. Focus On Sherlock/Watson Dynamic

The relationship between the great detective and his companion is one of the most intriguing double acts in literature. There have been many theses written on the complexities of their relationship, referring to them as platonic soul mates and more. This dynamic is brought brilliantly to life by Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch, who provide the right mixture of humour and aggravation to present a believable friendship. However, as tremendous as the last season was, the show was almost completely focused on Sherlock's rivalry with the 'Napoleon of Crime'. As interesting an avenue for exploration as it was, it's about high time that the key relationship of the series was brought back to the forefront. Now that we have the aftermath of Holmes' impending 'resurrection' to focus on, there is plenty of compelling material for these two characters to deal with.
