1. And Maggie Makes Three
And Maggie Makes Three has one of the most touching moments in Simpsons history (one that is
occasionally, tragically overlooked). It opens with a family activity night, and the Simpson children questioning why there are no photos of Maggie in the family photo album with their baby pictures. It's an excellent question, and one with the most touching of answers: after having to give up his dream job upon the arrival of Maggie, and being forced to re-apply to the nuclear plant, Homer posted all of her photos at his desk, over Mr. Burn's demotivational plaque that states "Don't Forget, You're Here Forever", turning it into "do it for her." It's incredibly touching, and the perfect ending to a fantastic flashback episode that included Homer using a shotgun to attract customers to his bowling alley dream job and a chuckle-inducing scene during which he quits his job and plays the bongos on Mr. Burn's head ("way to play the boss' head like a bongo, Homer!" eggs on Carl).
