Smallville: 10 Best Characters Only In One Episode

4. Jayna

It's hard to think back to great Smallville guest spots and not think of the Wonder Twins turning up in the Season 9 outing, 'Idol'.

As super fans of the Blur, Zan and Jayna decide to take a break from playing video games to instead start to help the Blur in his quest to clean up Metropolis. Only, of course, their best intentions end up putting more heat on the Blur - before the episode closes with a typical message of thanks and advice from Clark to the Wonder Twins.

The reason that Jayna gets the nod over her twinnie Zan here, is the fact that she has the far cooler ability of being able to turn herself into any animal she chooses. In 'Idol', we get to see Jayna take on the form of a cougar, a ladybug, and a dog. Which is just a far more fun superpower than Zan's ability to turn himself into water.

While Zan and Jayna's appearance in The CW's Smallville was capped at just one solitary outing, the good news for fans of the Wonder Twins is that they eventually turn up as part of the Smallville comic that continued on from where the ten-season show left off.
