Undoubtedly one of TV's hardest-working actresses, Laura Vandervoort's memorable turn as Supergirl on Smallville saw her kick-start an impressive string of main roles on a number of sci-fi TV shows.

Among them all, her best-known are no doubt Lisa in ABC's short-lived reimagining of V, Elena Michaels in Bitten and her recurring role on the first season of Supergirl as DC Comics supervillain Indigo.

She made the jump to the big screen in 2017 for Saw legacy sequel Jigsaw and she can currently be seen on Netflix's vampire thriller V-Wars.
