Sons Of Anarchy 7.10 Review - 5 Talking Points From "Faith And Despondency"

3. Child Services Pays The Tellers A Visit

The most shocking thing about this development is that it hasn't happened sooner, multiple times. Abel goes to school with a scratch on his face and his teacher, thanks to Gemma's antagonistic demeanor, presses him for details, The next time we see the little guy he's in the bathroom alone, polishing off a juicy juice and removing his fork from his lunch box. Jax is called to the school and arrives to find that Abel has a horrific wound on his arm, one that he blames on his grandma. This was fantastic for several reasons, not the least of which was seeing the look on Gemma's face when she realized that her grandson doesn't think as highly of her of she herself does. But the most powerful detail is that a five-year old boy unknowingly framed his grandmother with the same utensil that she killed his mother with. It was a subtle detail that some may not even catch but added a lot of weight to the scene. And then they all head back home where, after a brief discussion about how to move forward Jax is all "This is bad and all but somebody watch my kids BRB gotta go gun down a dozen guys".
